Recent CopperStone Resort Purchasers

For many years, my husband and I were interested in purchasing a vacation property. Ideally, we wanted something close to home, that we could use as a family on weekends as well as something that would serve as a solid investment property. Then, as luck would have it, we spotted an ad for the Copperstone Resort in Dead Man’s Flats, right in our very own backyard. We couldn’t believe it! Well now, not only do we believe it, we’re living it! In less than an hour, we can be relaxing on our patio, enjoying gorgeous mountain views in every direction. From our Condo, we can be in Canmore in 5 minutes perusing unique shops, including an awesome little second hand book store as well as gift shops that feature local artists or we can be soaking in the Banff Hot Springs a further 20 minutes up the road. Last summer, our son caught his first fish in the Bow river, a short walk from our condo. It was an exciting moment for both he and my husband. It definitely sparked what could become a lifelong interest for our son. We look forward to doing other outdoor activities, such as hiking, golfing and skiing with numerous nearby facilities to choose from.

As for our condo. Well, we love it! We have been impressed by the quality of the furniture, electronic equipment and household goods/utensils. The condo is equipped with all the comforts of home. So much so, we feel like we are at home! We can choose to eat out or prepare a delicious meal in our well appointed kitchen. At the end of a long day of exploring the area, we look forward to sitting in the hot tub, on our patio or by the firepit. The kids (old and young alike) can enjoy the games room and the fitness room is a nice alternative to exercising outdoors, if we so desire. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and we know they are just as excited as we are to be a part of such a great place.

Copperstone has delivered everything we had expected when we decided to purchase. Professional and friendly personnel throughout, from the sales team to the hotel management group and also the site personnel ....all are first rate.

We find this our perfect family getaway destination offering nice living room mountain views, beautiful hiking trails from our doorstep, and separation from the bustle of the city ......  yet close enough for us to get to .........  even for a two day weekend. What we particularly enjoy is having ready access to the local amenities of both Canmore and the National Park which are all mere minutes away,  while living out along the wildlife corridor.

We look forward to the completion of phases 2 and 3 of the development and utilization of all of the facilities that Copperstone Resort will have to offer.

Since the opening of Copperstone Resort I have had the pleasure of enjoying the resort many times. The fully furnished suites feel like a home away from home and offer everything I need, whether I am staying just the night or a few days. I have the option of enjoying fabulous dining in nearby Banff or Canmore, where I can bring leftovers home or I can cook to my liking back at the resort! In the warmer months I am minutes away from hiking, and enjoy air-conditioned luxury back in my room, and this winter I look forward to skiing and then enjoying the hot tub back at the resort. The front desk staff have been nothing but fabulous to deal with and make every effort possible to make sure I enjoy my stay every time- this alone ensures that I will continue to return.

We have been the hydrogeological consultant to Timber Creek Developments regarding the water supply source for the Copperstone Resort. In our experience, the developer has provided a water source that meets the requirements of Alberta Environment. This proved to be a lengthy and demanding process that Timber Creek Developments persisted with until all parties were satisfied. Preliminary Certificate No. 002622257-00-00 has been granted and 1371517 Alberta Ltd. will receive a licence to divert water through the onsite well upon compliance with conditions attached to the Preliminary Certificate and completion of an approved waterworks system.
